Total Mobility Scheme (TMS)
The Total Mobility Scheme (TMS) provides people who have a disability or mobility issue with subsidised taxi travel. A TMS card provides a 65% subsidy for taxi travel of up to $13 (this amount varies around the country).
We are supported by Horizons Regional Council to provide assessments for older people living in Palmerston North and Manawatū District who may be eligible for a Total Mobility Card.

Who is eligible?
You are eligible for the scheme if you are unable to travel easily due to a disability or limited mobility condition and therefore are unable to socialise or access the services of everyday life. You can find out more about the scheme here .
What is the cost of the TMS Card?
There is no charge for Age Concern to complete a TMS Card application.
