Promoting the wellbeing, rights, dignity, and respect of older people in Palmerston North and Manawatū Districts
Our Services

Groups for learning and support
Come along to our Men's group or fortnightly Tea and Talks, to learn from guest speakers and join others for afternoon tea. 'In Knit Together' provides an opportunity to chat and share an interest in crafts.

Visiting Service
Our Visiting Service can provide you, or someone you know, with a weekly visitor to provide support and companionship.

Health promotion programmes
We run exercise programmes and education workshops. These include a fortnightly Tech drop-in, driving refresher courses, and weekly 'Steady As You Go' and 'Shake, Rattle 'n' Roll' exercise classes.

Community support
We provide support and information about a wide range of other community services.

Safety and support
Are you concerned about your safety or the safety of someone you know? Phone us in confidence and ask for our Safety and Support Team.

Total Mobility Scheme
We support people to apply for the TMS card (through Horizons' Regional Council) that gives a 75% discount (capped at $15 per trip) off the cost of taxi and driving service fares.
