Feedback and complaints at Age Concern

Age Concern is committed to supporting clients to achieve the best possible outcomes. We welcome positive and negative feedback on our services – feedback helps us improve what we do.

We also have a Complaints Policy that sets out how we will deal with complaints. Complaints can be written or verbal and will always be acknowledged and taken seriously.

If you have a complaint, we encourage you to take it to the staff person most directly involved. If you feel unable to do that, or you feel your concerns are not being listened to, please take your complaint to the Manager, Julie Macdonald (Julie.macdonald@ageconcernpn.org.nz).

If you are still unhappy about the outcome, you may take concerns to the Chair of the Board of Age Concern.

The Health and Disability Commissioner (https://www.hdc.org.nz)  provides helpful information about how to complain about services. We encourage anyone with an unresolved complaint to contact the Health and Disability Advocacy Service on 0800 555050 or (06) 353 7236.
